Dear Families,

Thank you for your patience in awaiting the Term 1 fixtures for Girls' Summer Sports. As you may know, we rely on the Catholic Girls Sports Association (CESA) for the final draws, which were received this afternoon. All schools involved are in the same position, receiving this information at the last minute.

To assist with the process, we have attached the Weekly Fixtures under the Fixtures tab, which outlines this weekend’s games, times, and venues. Please note that all sports will be played, except for Girls Water Polo, as pool renovations are still underway. Water Polo games are scheduled to commence on Thursday, March 13th, which is still a month away.

Please make sure to check the TEAMS tab to confirm where you will be playing this weekend. There have been some player adjustments across all sports, based on coaches' guidance and player availabilities at training. While we aim to maintain stability within teams, changes may occur due to performance and availability throughout the term. Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to visit me in the Sports Office at the Yitpi Centre.

Training
A friendly reminder that attendance at training is compulsory. If you are unable to attend, please notify your coach. Detailed training information can be found under the Training/Coach Information tab. Don’t forget to save your coach’s contact number in your phone for ease of communication.

Fixtures
Due to the tight turnaround, the Sports Department will have all fixtures uploaded to Stack Team App by mid-morning tomorrow. This will enable families to plan accordingly for weekends throughout Term 1. The fixtures are final and can be accessed under the Fixtures tab

Uniform
Please ensure that you have the correct Mercedes College playing uniform for your sport, ready for the first game. These can be purchased from the College Uniform Shop. If you are unsure of the specific uniform required, please refer to the College website under sports, where a link is provided.

Access Groups
For ongoing sport-related updates throughout the season, I will be posting information in the Access Groups on Stack Team App. Please ensure you have joined the relevant Access Group and that notifications are turned on to receive updates. To enable notifications, go to the settings in the top right-hand corner, select Access Groups, and then choose your team.
